Unless You Drive a Ferrari, Don’t Buy Premium Gasoline

You can save a lot of money on gasoline by switching from premium grade gas to regular grade gas.

Unless you are driving a high performance vehicle, there is no need for premium instead of regular. Premium gasoline is not cleaner, it does not deliver better fuel economy and it does not make your car faster. What it does do is reduce “knocks” that occur in high combustion engines. If you drive a Honda or a Toyota or a Buick, you do not have one of these engines. If you drive a high-end BMW or Mercedes (or a Ferrari) you probably do have one.
